Position Player of the Year: Kahiau Aina, Mililani, Jr, INF

Whether it was anchoring the infield or providing offensive punch in the hear of the order, Aina delivered big time for the now three-time state champion Trojans. The 5-foot-3 junior hit safely in every regular season game as well as throughout Mililani's state tournament push, batting a gaudy .654 with 38 runs and 29 RBIs, collecting eight doubles, a triple and 10 home runs along the way. Her statistical highlights in states came in the quarterfinals against Maryknoll (4 for 5, 4 runs, HR, 2 doubles) and in the semis against Kapaa (3 for 5, 3 runs, 3 RBI, HR, 2 SB). She had five games with three hits or more, and seven games scoring 3 runs or more and five games of driving in three or more runs. Aina was an All-OIA West First Team pick and is a two-time All-Hawaii selection.

Pitcher of the Year: Hinano Bautista, Mililani, Jr., P

Bautista was honored as a Player of the Year for the second straight season, this time as a pitcher. The 5-foot-7 junior dominant in the circle, posting a 9-0 record and a 2.30 ERA, striking out 34 and walking 20. She was equally as deadly with the bat in her hands, posting a .617 average with 21 runs and 29 RBIs, racking up four doubles, three triples and 10 home runs. She did it all, almost literally, for the Trojans over the three-day tourney stretch. As a hitter, she had 10 hits in 11 at-bats, scored six runs and drove in 11, with four home runs to go along with two doubles and a triple. Then as a pitcher, she threw 18 innings in that stretch, taking the win in each. Bautista was named All-OIA West Player of the Year and is a three-time All-Hawaii selection.

Coach of the Year: Rose Antonio, Mililani

Thrice is just as nice for Antonio, who once again guided her alma mater to another Division I state crown, racking up 10-0 record in league play and a 16-1 mark overall, the lone blemish coming in the OIA Division I playoff semis, a 6-4 loss to Campbell. Along the way, the Trojans captured their 14th overall OIA title (their ninth under Antonio). Antonio's squad won its final five games of the year and recorded eight wins via mercy rule. Mililani had seven players named either first- or second-team All-Hawaii Division I.
