Position Player of the Year: Mua Williams, Kamehameha, Sr., SS

The 5-foot-8 Williams was a dominant force at the plate for the state runner-up Warriors this season. The University of Georgia-bound slugger led all of Division I in hits (37), home runs (17), runs batted in (50), batting average (.638) and runs scored (39). Williams logged a pair of four-hit games, including a monster seven-RBI effort in a win over Mid-Pacific in late March. She slugged two homers in a game three times, but also drew a combined nine walks in two games against Maryknoll late in the regular season. Williams was tabbed as ILH Player of the Year and was also selected Gatorade State Player of the Year.

Pitcher of the Year: Hinano Bautista, Mililani, Fr., LHP

In her very first season of varsity ball, Bautista proved to be the difference for the Trojans in their march to a state championship. The 5-foot-7 hurler compiled an unblemished 10-0 record in the circle with an earned run average of 1.18. She allowed only nine earned runs and 13 runs in 53 2/3 innings of work. Bautista tallied a season-high seven strikeouts in a win over Waianae in late April and was the winning pitcher in Trojans' final six games of the spring. She was selected by the media as the Most Outstanding Player in the state tournament.

Coach of the Year: Rose Antonio, Mililani

The longtime Trojans' coach led her alma mater to a 17-1 overall record, including a 14-1 mark in league play, which culminated with the program's fourth state title this spring. It was the first state championship since 2014 for Mililani, which also came under Antonio's direction. The Trojans finished with a state-best 2.00 ERA. At the plate they hit .429 as a team and led the state with 51 home runs en route to their 12th OIA championship despite playing all of their games on the road due to ongoing renovations to their home field.
