Head coach: Duane Kaupe (3rd season) Offensive coordinator: Kaz Olivera Defensive coordinator: Aukai Lopez
Players to watch: UTL Irie Mizner (6-2, 205, Jr.), QB/RB Zar Tolentino (5-8, 140, Jr.), UTL Kui Park (5-10, 160, So.), UTL David Helekahi-Burns (6-1, 170, So.)
Coach's words: "I get one young team because we don't have a feeder program. A lot of these kids never did play football before. As for expectations, Molokai is always tough, we've beaten Lanai a few times. It's pretty much executing plays and putting points on the board. We always get low numbers, fifteen to twenty, around there." - Duane Kaupe
SL's take: The Dragons went winless in 2019 and were outscored in their four games by a total of 213 to 40. With an enrollment of approximately 350 students, Hana relies upon multi-sport athletes to stay competitive, but Kaupe hopes a flag football team that he also coaches will provide a boost to the program. Mizner's background is as a linemen, but Kaupe is hoping to utilize him as a skill-position player. Park and Helekahi-Burns are a pair of sophomores that Kaupe is high on for the future.
