The Crusaders have both the Division I offensive and defensive preseason players of the year in QB Tua Tagovailoa and LB Isaac Slade-Matautia.

3. Punahou

The Buffanblu return four receivers that each recorded at least 25 catches and 400 receiving yards as juniors last season.

4. Waianae

This week: at No. 8 Kamehameha Friday

The Seariders are coming off a state semifinal appearance in 2015 and return standout RB Javen Towne, who ran for 19 TDs last year.

5. Kapolei

This week: vs. Campbell Friday

Sophomore QB Taulia Tagovailoa returns to lead the Hurricanes' offense after throwing for 2,781 yards and 22 TDs last year.

6. Farrington

The Govs missed out on the state tournament last season, but return explosive RB Challen Faamatau, who accounted for 1,766 yards of total offense and 20 TDs in 2015.

7. Mililani

2015 record (rank): 10-3 (3rd)

This week: vs. No. 2 Saint Louis Saturday

The Trojans reached the state semifinal round in 2015, but are looking to replace three-year starters in QB McKenzie Milton (Central Florida), RB Vavae Malepeai (USC) and WR Kalakaua Timoteo (Hawaii).

8. Kamehameha

This week: vs. No. 4 Waianae Friday

The Warriors are coming off consecutive third-place finishes in the ILH Division I and lost All-Hawaii first team WR Kumoku Noa to graduation in the offseason.

9. Baldwin

2015 record (rank): 8-4 (10th)

This week: idle

The Bears return QB Chayce Akaka, the reigning MIL offensive player of the year, and RB Kamaki Gouveia, their leading rusher from a season ago.

10. Kailua

2015 record (rank): 7-3 (8th)

All-Hawaii first team DE Christian Mejia returns for his senior season. The Surfriders will visit Aiea in a scrimmage Friday night.
