Tanner Oshiro had two first-half interceptions that Saint Louis recycled into touchdowns and Saint Louis beat Pac-Five, 31-6, Saturday night in interdivisional Interscholastic League of Honolulu football at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium. The Division I Crusaders (5-3 overall, 4-1 ILH) had 14 different players touch the ball who combined for 457 yards offense and 20 first downs against the Division II Wolf Pack (2-6, 1-4).Saint Louis starting quarterback Kawai Mook-Garcia was 11 of 19 for 221 yards with most of his damage done in the first half. He played only one series in the second half. Ryder Kuhns started the third quarter, completing 8 of 13 passes for 67 yards. Robert Faleafine wrapped the game up with 1-of-4 passing for 7 yards, but was intercepted by Jared Martinez. The Crusaders spread the wealth around on offense. Wide receiver Jeremy Tabuyo was only thrown to twice, catching one for 49 yards. Ricky Ahlo-Pinera led with six catches for 44 yards. Tight end Wallen Teo had three catches for 48 yards, including a 34-yard TD. Kainoa Abreu had 60 receiving yards from four receptions.Their top running back, Adam Noga, had just seven carries, but for 65 yards, including a 13-yard TD. Kaulana Vinoya led with 13 rushes for 41 yards and a five-yard TD.Saint Louis had three interceptions on the night, two by Oshiro and another by Pali Galdeira. Oshiro's first pick of the game came on Pac-Five's first series of the game. He took Cody Kim's pass and returned it 16 yards to the Wolf Pac 39. On fourth-and-4 at the 34, Teo took a mid-range pass from Mook-Garcia then dodged several defenders to complete the scoring play. Aaron Peltier's PAT gave Saint Louis a 7-0 lead at six minutes, 52 seconds.Early in the second quarter, the Crusaders lost a fumble at their 39. But on first down, Oshiro made his second interception off Keoni Tom-Millare at the Saints' 12. The Crusaders ran eight plays to move 88 yards, the bulk on Tabuyo's 49-yard catch, with Noga scoring on a 13-yard run with 6:40 left in the half to make it 14-0.The Pac's ensuing series was stalled by Galdeira's interception at the Saints' 20. The Crusaders marched 80 yards on six plays, a chunk coming on Devan Stubblefield's 42-yard catch from Mook-Garcia to the Pac's 5, setting up Vinoya's TD run to make it 21-0 with 2:36 in the half.Kuhns engineered the Saints' only scoring drive in the third quarter that resulted in Peltier's 20-yard field goal to increase the Crusaders' lead to 24-0.Pac-Five scored on its ensuing series on Tom-Millare's three-yard run, but Saint Louis blocked the PAT to keep it 24-6.Mook-Garcia returned for Saint Louis' next series and needed just five plays to move 56 yards with RB Allan Cui picking up a low snap intended for the QB and scoring from eight yards to make it 31-6 with 8:36 left in the game. The Crusaders were hampered by 16 penalties totaling 148 yards.
