HHSAA inducts 2012 Hall of Honor class

Another outstanding class of senior student-athletes were inducted into the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor at an Awards Dinner on Sunday night at the Sheraton Waikiki.

The inductees were chosen by a 16-person selection committee of current and former sports reporters, athletic directors and coaches, and each received a $2,000 scholarship courtesy of Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Keynote speaker for the evening was current University of Hawaii at Manoa football head coach Norm Chow.

The HHSAA Hall of Honor, formerly known as the Nissan Hall of Honor, has been recognizing the top 12 senior student-athletes in Hawai'i each year since 1983.
