MPI's Carlos earns Player of the Year honors in ILH softball




Mid-Pacific pitcher Keiki Carlos, who helped lead the Owls to back-to-back league and state softball titles, was named ILH softball Player of the Year.

Carlos was dominant in the circle, compiling a 16-1 record, and was equally as deadly at the plate, hitting five home runs and five doubles to go along with 24 runs batted in.

Maryknoll's John Uekawa and Mid-Pacific's Willie Quinn were named Co-Coaches of the Year.
