Christenson leads Warriors to DI title

Tournament MOP Micah Christenson poured in 22 kills to lead the Warriors to a straight set victory over top-seed and ILH nemesis Punahou to win the D1 title.

Christenson also added 3 blocks, 4 digs and a service ace for the Warriors, who swept the previously undefeated Buffanblu, 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.

Kamehameha last state title victory came in 2002.

Punahou's Benjamin Lam had 15 kills and Tui Tuileta added 14 kills and 8 digs in the loss.
