Kailua pounded out 13 hits in game shortened by the mercy rule, routing Kaiser in five innings, 19-2, to improve to 2-2 on the season in league play.

Surfrider's starter Destinee Chang scattered four hits and allowed just two runs, both unearned, to earn the victory. She also was 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and a triple.

Sharla Kumai-Farrell was 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs, and Shaydon Apela-Moku was 1-3 with a home run for Kailua, who's offense has exploded for 34 runs in the last two games.

Kaiser's Kai Hasegawa was 2-for-3 with a stolen base. The Cougars fell to 2-2 in OIA play.
