Mililani's Tobita wins girls singles title




Mililani's Alyssa Tobita upset top-seed Sarah Dvorak of Waiakea, 7-6 (3), 7-5, to win the state girls singles title.

Top-seed Chas Okamoto of Kapaa defeated Saint Anthony's Kento Tanaka-Tamaki to capture the boys singles title, 6-4, 6-2.

In the boys doubles championship match, Kamehameha-Kapalama's Marcel Chan and Roman Kop took care of Colin Tseng and Lawrence Ho (Iolani), 6-3, 6-3.

And in an all-Punahou girls double championship match,  Jennifer Laws/Sarah Steele defeated Ashley Nakaoka/Dani Young, 7-6 (4), 6-2.

The Buffanblu also claimed both the girls and boys team titles.
