Micaela Bitanga and the Cougars hold off a second half Roosevelt surge to win on the road, 49-47.

Bitanga had a team-high 12 points, including three three-pointers, and Ashley Soong added 10 first-half points for Kaiser, who improved to 9-1 on the season.

Roosevelt trailed 29-24 at the half, and got within 3 points with 32.8 seconds left in the contest.

But a key turnover with just over 10 seconds left in regulation was turned into a fast break layup for Kaiser's Kiana Nakai, putting the game out of reach at 49-45 with less than 4 seconds on the clock.

Kira Arruda's long-range shot from the left wing went in just before the buzzer, closing the gap to 49-47.
