Defending Division I state champion Konawaena will be participating in the Iolani Prep Classic girls' basketball tournament Dec. 8 to 11 at Iolani.

Joining Konawaena in the eight-team tournament are host Iolani, Mid-Pacific, Kaimuki, Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.), Tsinghua (Bejing), Brea Olina (Brea, Calif.) and Oregon City (Ore.).

Here is the schedule:

Dec. 8
Konawaena vs. Bishop Gorman, 3:30 p.m.
Tsinghua vs. Brea Olinda, 5 p.m.
Mid-Pacific vs. Oregon City, 6:30 p.m.
Iolani vs. Kaimuki, 8 p.m.

Dec. 9
Fifth-place semifinals, 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Semifinals, 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Dec. 10
Seventh place, 3:30 p.m.
Fifth place, 5 p.m.
Third place, 6:30 p.m.
Championship, 8 p.m.
