UH to host Third Annual Strength Clinic


The University of Hawai'i athletic department will hold its Third Annual Strength Clinic during Pro Bowl Weekend, Jan. 27-28, 2012, at the school's Alexander Waterhouse Training Facility (athletic weight room).

The clinic will feature speakers from the Seattle Seahawks, University of Texas, Baylor, Washington, Notre Dame, Hawai'i and others seeking to create awareness and educate coaches on new concepts, how to improve performance, decrease injuries and gain a greater understanding of the importance of strength and conditioning.

The clinic will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Jan. 27 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 28. The cost is $75 for HHSAA coaches ($100 for other professionals and $60 for graduate assistants/students with valid ID) and includes a clinic shirt, lunch on Saturday and socials. A late registration fee of $20 will be added after Jan. 7
