Tatupu-Leopoldo leads East All-Star team




Farrington's Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo was named O'ahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division girls' basketball Player of the Year.

The division's coaches chose the dynamic Tatupu-Leopoldo and the rest of the all-stars, which were submitted by the league.

Kaimuki's Ramona Faasoa was named Coach of the Year.

Tatupu-Leopoldo led the OIA Red in scoring, averaging 17.6 points per game in helping guide the Governors to the OIA title.

Other first-team members are: Farrington's Kirsten Liana, Kaiser's Mele Adams, Kaimuki's Letishah Faasoa and Kahuku's Joshlyn Noga.
