Moanalua tops McKinley, 25-13, 25-13, 25-13

Erin Perez had 15 kills and five aces and Courtney Calicdan added 13 kills and two aces as Na Menehune cruised past the visiting Tigers.

McKinley started the match with a surprising 5-2 lead, but Moanalua responded with a 6-0 run to take the lead for good and eventually pull away. Na Menehune jumped to a 10-4 lead in Game 2 and broke away from a 6-6 tie in the third set with a 12-1 run.

The Tigers ran into some hard luck before the match even began, as their starting libero injured her elbow during pre-game warm-ups, coach Brandon Flores said.
