Roosevelt is moving on in the New City Nissan Division I Boys Volleyball Championships.

The Rough Riders shook off a slow start to pull away from Lahainaluna in a four-set win at Jimmie H. Greig Gym Monday afternoon.

Set scores were 22-25, 25-12, 25-17 and 25-21z

Ford Lyons led all attackers with 14 kills to power Roosevelt, who will play second-seeded Kamehameha Thursday in the second semifinal at McKinley's Student Council Gymnasium.
