Kamehameha picked up right where it left off in league play, notching a 25-22, 25-20, 25-15 win over Hawaii Baptist, improving to 2-0 on the season.

The Warriors returned just days earlier from an appearance at the Best of the West invitation in San Diego, where they finished tied for 15th place in the gold division.

Coming off a stunning four-set win just one week prior over nine-time defending state champ Punahou, the Eagles battled but came up short in its second straight road game over the Warriors.
