The Konawaena quarterback threw for six touchdowns against just one incompletion to power the Wildcats to a 74-0 road win over Waiakea to begin regular season play Saturday afternoon.

Alani completed 15 of 16 passes for 222 yards as the Wildcats picked up their first victory of the season.

Hezekiah Anahu-Ambrosio led Konawaena defensively with seven and 1/2 tackles, three and 1/2 for loss, one and 1/2 sacks and a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
