The Kapolei football team looked like it was already in midseason form in its season opener Saturday afternoon.
The tenth-ranked Hurricanes scored on every possession en route to their largest win in school history, a 70-0 drubbing over visiting Kealakehe in a non-league matchup at the Alvin Nagasako Sports Complex.
Sophomore quarterback Liatama "Tama" Amisone was a maestro for the home team, completing 16 of 16 passes for 234 yards and seven touchdowns in two quarters of work. He also ran for a 26-yard score on a QB draw play.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ScoringLive continue its mission to provide the best and most comprehensive coverage of high school sports in the state of Hawaii and beyond.
