Nanakuli kept its undefeated record intact with a come-from-behind victory over Waipahu, while handing the Marauders its first loss of the year by a 4-2 count.

Jacob Sugimoto's line drive triple to center was the first and only extra base hit of the entire game, and an error at the back end of the play allow Sugimoto to also score the first run of the contest as well.

The score remained 1-0 until the fourth inning, when the Marauders added an insurance run on a balk.

A Nanakuli offense that had previously hit double digits in every game this season stalled until the bottom of the sixth, coming alive to score four runs on four hits, capped off by Jordan Kay's two-run single that game the Golden Hawks the lead.

Armed with a two run cushion heading into the seventh, Donald Kapaku completed the comeback, allowing just one hit in the inning, and ending the game on a pop out in foul territory.

Kapaku allowed two runs on five hits in a complete game effort.
