Punahou is moving on.

The Buffanblu used a strong first half to top third-seeded King Kekaulike, 3-1, in the quarterfinals of the NIU Health Urgent Care Thursday afternoon at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex.

Punahou, who took a 2-0 lead into the break, moves on to face Mililani Friday night in a 5 p.m. semifinal at Radford High.

Getting credit for the opening goal of the match was Brooke Bailey, off an assist by Xehlia Salanoa in the 26th minute.

Jordyn Eldredge Sagapolutele doubled the lead in the 30th minute off a soft header in the box that inched over the goal line. She added a goal in the final minute to help Punahou hold off Na Alii.

Ui Kaaihue scored in the 50th minute to avoid the shutout for King Kekaulike.
