Visiting Kaiser jumped out to a 19-0 lead and never looked back as it ran past host McKinley, 50-10, in an OIA East contest at Student Council Gymnasium Friday night.
Alexus Maae knocked down two triples and had a game-high 16 points and Jasey Morikawa added 11 off the bench to help the Cougars improve to 9-0 in the OIA D1 East standings before the final week of the regular season.
Kaiser has pivotal games coming up with a home game against Roosevelt (10-0 league) on Tuesday and a road game against Moanalua (7-1) next Thursday.
Theresa McMurray led the Tigers (3-7) with three points.
