Not one, not two but three wins over Kapolei for the Pearl City girls soccer team this season.
The fourth-ranked Chargers dominated the Hurricanes, 5-0, at Edwin Bino Neves Stadium Monday night in the opening round of The Queen's Medical Center Division I Girls Soccer Championships.
It was the third time that Pearl City (11-2-1) took on Kapolei (7-8) this season. The Chargers won the regular season match, 6-0, and won a quarterfinal match, 3-1, in the OIA Division I Playoffs.
Jasmine Herodies scored a goal before the end of the first half to give Pearl City a 1-0 lead, but the Chargers quickly extended their lead in the second half with goals by Preston Spragling, Kaila Takai, Soraya Santos and Chanyn Santos.
With the win Pearl City moves on to face fourth-seeded King Kekaulike Thursday at Waipio Soccer Stadium. First kick is slated for 1 p.m.
