Leaf razors Titan for third place in Classic

Team Leaf jumped out to an early 4-0 lead and held on to prevail over Team Titan, 4-2, in the 13th annual New City Nissan Softball Classic third place game Sunday afternoon at Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park.

Leaf scored on RBI hits from Staisa Micky (Leilehua), Sammie Ofoia (Saint Francis) and Kayla Hensley (Waianae).

Titan got on the scoreboard in the sixth inning on an RBI-single from Mari Foster (Roosevelt) and an RBI-groundout from Skye Ah Yat (Saint Francis).
