WAIPIO — Second-ranked Mid-Pacific rolled up Hanalani, 11-0, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu cross-division matchup Wednesday afternoon at Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipio.

Jaydon Tomas, Randy Ihara and DJ Nakashima combined for the shutout victory on the mound for the Owls with Tomas recording his first win of the season.

It was the Owls' fifth shutout victory of the season to improve to 11-2 as they sit atop of the ILH Division I standings.

For Hanalani, it was the first time it played a complete game since a 5-2 loss to Saint Francis on March 15. All but three of their 12 losses this season have ended after five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.

The Royals will close out the regular season Thursday afternoon with Saint Louis (4-8) back at CORP before ILH D2 second round tournament play begins next week.
