Host Pearl City scored early and often to top Waipahu for a 7-0 regular season win at Bino Neves Stadium Friday night.
The Chargers, ranked ninth in the ScoringLive/Hawaiian Electric Boys Soccer Power Rankings, got a hat trick from Devan Yoshimura to pick up their third straight win as they improved to 4-1 in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I standings.
Yoshimura made his presence known early, giving Pearl City the lead in the opening minute. He also added goals in the 37th and 71st minute.
Justice Gomes chipped in two goals while Zameer Khan and Nikita Richey notched a score each to cap the Chargers' scoring.
Waipahu dropped its third straight game and fell to 2-3.
