Jefferson (Portland, Ore.) was too much for Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, Calif.) as the Democrats won, 63-50 to advance to the Iolani Classic championship game on Wednesday night to face Montverde (Fla.) at approximately 8 p.m. following the third place game. 

Kamaka Hepa, a University of Texas signee, poured in 17 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, and seven blocks to lead the Democrats.

Jalen Brown also chipped in 18 points and knocked down three 3-pointers and Khalil Chatman added 14 points for Jefferson.

Jefferson led, 27-21 at halftime and pulled away for good in the third quarter to lead by double digits. 

Will Chavarin led the Dragons with 18 points and Naseem Gaskin added 10 points in the loss.

Bishop O'Dowd will take on Fairfax (Los Angeles, Calif.) for third place.
