Former college baseball coach David ‘Boy' Eldredge has been named varsity softball coach at Punahou School, the school announced in a press release.
Eldredge, a Punahou alumnus, succeeds long-time coach Bob Makahilahila.
Eldredge, who coached baseball at Hawaii Pacific University and at Southern Utah, was an assistant coach in softball for Mid-Pacific Institute in 2013, the release said.
