Saint Francis scored early and often as it defeated PAC-5, 12-6, at Ala Wai Field for its first win of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu season Wednesday afternoon.

The Saints (1-1) jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and got a complete game effort by pitcher Kailee Mahelona to power their victory.

Leading Saint Francis at the plate was Hailey Matsumura, who went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, a double and two runs scored .

Alisha Candelario was 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run to lead the Wolfpack (0-2) in the loss.
