Kamehameha took top honors in the inaugural Cougar Preseason Showdown Girls Basketball Tournament with a 44-19 win over Mid-Pacific at Kaiser's Gymnasium Saturday night.

Post Kalina Obrey scored 17 points to lead the Warriors in the title game of the eight-team tourney. Mikiala Maio and Kiana Vierra followed with eight and seven points respectively.

Payton Antonio led the Owls in the loss with eight points and one made 3-pointer.
