The Mules (7-4 overall, 6-4 league) advance to the quarterfinals to play the Easts' top seed Kahuku (11-0) at Kahuku for the nightcap of a doubleheader. The Falcons conclude the season 6-6 overall, 6-5 league.
The Mules took a commanding two set lead, but Kalani led the third set by as much as 10 points and ultimately won, 25-16 to force a fourth set.
