Saint Louis outscored Farrington 40-15 in the second and third quarter to roll to a 55-39 win to wrap up the first day of the 17th annual James Alegre Invitational Wednesday night.

The four-day tournament does not use a standard bracket scheudle, but instead pits squads from the Oahu Interscholastic Association against teams from various different leagues. With Interscholastic League of Honolulu representative Saint Louis winning the final game of the evening, the OIA went winless on the first day of the tourney.

Lance Sataraka led the Crusaders in scoring with 11 points. Tristan Nichols added nine points, Noa Purcell had eight more and Isaac Slade-Matautia finished with seven.

Farrington's Mosiula Alaivanu-Afe led all scorers with 14 points. Also finishing in double figures for the Governors was Ehzikiel Santiago, who had 11 and one made triple.
