Findlay Prep held off defending champ Montrose Christian, 40-35, to advance to the title game of the Iolani Prep Classic.

Gavin Schilling and Nigel Williams-Goss scored 14 points a piece to lead the Pilots, who led 26-17 at the half.

Montrose rallied in the third quarter, going on a 14-4 scoring run to take a 31-30 lead at the end of three quarters of play.

But Allerik Freeman and Williams-Goss each hit a pair of free-throws in the late stages of the contest to give the Pilots just enough breathing room to hold on for the win.

Findlay Prep will take on La Lumiere, a 70-67 winner over Oak Hill, in the championship game set for 8:00 p.m. Saturday.
