Kaiser improved to 4-1 on the season with a 42-35 win over Kalani in OIA East division girls basketball action at Kaiser High's gymnasium.

The Falcons played the Cougars close in the first half, trailing by just three points at the intermission.

But Kaiser closed the quarter on a 10-3 scoring run to stretch the lead to 10, and would hold off Kalani the rest of the way to seal up the victory.

Micaela Bitanga had 14 points to lead all scorers. Tali Iinuma scored 8 points for the Falcons, including two from three-point range.
