The O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red modified double elimination girls' volleyball tournament starts with doubleheaders on Tuesday.At Castle, West 4 Leilehua will take on East 5 Kaiser at 5 p.m. with West 6 Waianae and East 6 Castle to follow.At Campbell, East 4 Kalani will play West 5 Kapolei at 5 p.m. to be followed by East 6 Roosevelt and West 3 Campbell.First-round losers are eliminated. The winners advance to the double-elimination round. Top seeds Kahuku (East 1), Moanalua (East 2), Mililani (West 1) and Pearl City (West 2) draw first-round byes. They start play Thursday at Kahuku and Mililani.The top six teams of the tournament advance to the Division I state tournament.The six-team White tournament starts Thursday at Kailua. West 3 Waialua will play East 2 Kailua at 5 p.m. with East 3 Kaimuki and West 2 Nanakuli to follow.Top seeds Farrington and Radford have first-round byes. They don't play until Oct. 16 at Radford.
