Ramirez to take girls volleyball helm at Mid-Pacific

Luis Ramirez was announced as the new head coach for the Mid Pacific girls volleyball program.

Drew Pascua, the previous head coach, submitted his resignation due to family reasons. He will be returning to the mainland.

A two-time ILH Coach of the Year (2001 & 2003) and State Coach of the Year (2003), Ramirez coached both the boys and girls programs at Iolani School for several years and has headed the Asics Rainbows Volleyball Club since 1998.

"Coach Luis is one of the most established youth volleyball coaches in the state of Hawaii." said Mid Pacific AD Jo Ito. "I am confident that his far-reaching knowledge and understanding of the game will propel our girls volleyball program to the next level".
