Second-seed Kahuku holds off Kaiser, 14-10


  



Second-seed Kahuku avoided a scare by OIA rival Kaiser, outscoring the Cougars by a 7-4 margin in the second half to come away with the victory and securing a spot in the semifinals of the Stanford Carr Development State Water Polo Championships.

The Red Raiders jumped out to an early 6-1 advantage, but the Cougars' stormed back in the second quarter, going on a 5-1 scoring spurt to close the half down by just one.

Paulina Germain and Nohea Kahaulelio scored four goals each to lead all scorers.
