Bryson Dymond and the Surfriders opened their OIA Red campaign with a doubleheader sweep of the Kaiser Cougars.

Catcher Alan Baldwin two-run blast to right field gave Kailua a first-inning lead over the Cougars in the second game of the doubleheader that the Surfriders would not relinquish, building a 4-0 lead through four innings, and putting the game well out of reach with a 4-run outburst in the 6th.

Bryson Dymond pitched 6 strong innings to earn the victory, and also batted 2-for-4 with a home run and 4 runs batted in.

Kailua stands at 2-0 on the season in the OIA Red.

In the first game of the afternoon, the Surfriders held off Kaiser, 9-6, to earn the victory.

Alan Baldwin went 4-for-4 with a double, a homer and 3 RBIs to lead Kailua's offensive attack.
