Nanshon George's layup with less than 6 seconds in the contest gave Radford a last-gasp 52-50 win over the Mililani Trojans in an opening round game of the HHSAA Division I tournament.

On the ensuing in-bounds, Mililani advanced the ball downcourt to Alex Bumgarner, whose wild heave from the left baseline missed as time expired.

George scored 16 points as pulled down 18 boards for the Rams, who also got 16 points from guard TJ Reid.

Trojan forward Hassan Richardson scored 11, and Josh Lenchanko and Brady Spiridigliozzi each added 10 more for Mililani in the loss.

Radford will face top-seeded 'Iolani in the 7:00 p.m. in a championship bracket quarterfinal game tomorrow at McKinley, while Mililani will take on Hilo at 3:00 p.m. in a consolation bracket pairing.
