'Iolani, Farrington receive No. 1 seeds


Defending champ 'Iolani and Farrington received the No. 1 seeds for the upcoming Hawaiian Airlines/Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Boys Basketball State Championships.

The Division I tournament begins Wednesday, with the DII tourney starting Thursday at school sites.

Here is a day-by-day schedule:

WEDNESDAY

at McKinley

Game 1: Kahuku (12-5) vs. Hilo (12-3), 5 p.m.
Game 2: Mililani (11-5) vs. Radford (13-3), 7 p.m.

at Farrington

Game 3: Kamehameha (12-2) vs. Baldwin (12-3), 5 p.m.
Game 4: Academy of the Pacific (11-5) vs. Roosevelt (12-4), 7 p.m.
