Dozens of student athletes sign at National Letter of Intent ceremony


 



More than 40 student athletes gathered this morning during a National Letter of Intent signing day gathering hosted by the Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance at the Sheraton Waikiki.

Colorado was a big winner, landing football standouts Juda Parker, Paulay Asiata and K.T. Tu'umalo. Portland State also signed three Hawai'i players -- Castle quarterback Jaymason Lee, Kamehameha cornerback Walter Santiago and Warriors linebacker Kawika Stant.

Eight girls soccer players also signed letters, including four headed to UH: Krystal Pascua ('Iolani), Briana Afoa (Punahou), Tiana Kaili Fujimoto (Moanalua) and Ashley Ann Haruki (Hawai'i Baptist).
