HHSAA announces 2023 Hall of Honor class




Twelve student-athletes from nine different schools and representing all five of the state's leagues make up the 2023 class of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor.

The group — made up of seven girls and five boys — were chosen from amongst a group of more than 50 applicants by a 13-person selection committee made up of current and former sports reporters, coaches and athletic directors. Each individual will receive a $2,000 scholarship courtesy of Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

The induction class, in alphabetical order, is as follows:

• Milan Ah Yat, University Lab (softball, volleyball)
• Leonard Ah You, Kahuku (football, basketball, track & field, volleyball)
• Elijah Dinkel, Kamehameha-Hawaii (football, soccer)
• Brock Fonoimoana, Kahuku (football, basketball, track & field, volleyball)
• Taryn Irimata, Campbell (softball)
• Liona Lefau, Kahuku (football, track & field) 
• Solomone Malafu, Kapaa (football, basketball, volleyball)
• Tatum Moku, Kamehameha (track & field)
• Keala Montgomery, Lanai (volleyball, basketball, softball)
• Raya Nakao, Punahou (golf)
• Zola O'Donnell, Mililani (cross country, swimming, track & field)
• Marley Roe, Kamehameha (volleyball, soccer)

A traditional awards dinner will be held on Sunday, June 4 at the Ala Moana Hotel. For more information on purchasing tickets for the dinner will be posted on sportshigh.com/hallofhonor.

It is the 41st consecutive year the Hall of Honor has recognized the top twelve senior student-athletes in the state. A complete list of inductees, dating back to the inaugural class of 1983, can be found here.
