Chevan Cordeiro threw for 406 yards and two scores and Zion Bowens broke out for 172 receiving yards, inlcuding a 93 yard score to help the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors eke out a win over the Colorado State Rams.

Rams quarterback Todd Centeio completed 29 of 48 passes for 527 yards and five touchdowns, but was intercepted twice, one of which was taken back the other way 40 yards for a score.

Hawaii led 36-10 with 9:10 in the third quarter, but found itself in a dog fight the rest of the way, as Colorado State rallied back with 21 unanswered points to close the margin to just five.

The visiting team would not get any closer, as both sides traded a pair of scores down the stretch, the last of which was a Centeio to Gary Williams pass play that brought the Rams to within 50-45. The ensuing onside kick went out of bounds, however, giving the ball and the win, to Hawaii.
