Kaiser improved to 4-2 on the year with a straight set win on the road against Kaimuki. Set scores were 25-12, 27-26, 25-15.
The Cougars kept pace atop the OIA East standings, tied with both Kalaheo and Farrington. Moanalua remains the lone unbeaten in the East at 6-0, followed by Kahuku at 5-1.
Four key games remain in the regular season slate for Kaiser, which includes a game on the road against rival Kalani (3-3) Thursday, a tilt with the aforementioned Mustangs next week Tuesday, then the Governors on Nov 14 before taking on Kahuku on Nov 16.
Kaimuki remains winless on the season. Two road games against Moanalua and Roosevelt happen on consecutive Tuesdays before closing out the year with a home game against the Falcons on Nov 18.
