HHSAA Student Athlete Advisory Council shares message of hope

The Hawaii High School Athletic Association's Student Athlete Advisory Council has produced a video message in light of recent events.

The presentation is a combined effort from all those in the council, including Logan Spencer, Taylor Katahira, Shay Bonilla, Wallace Pamo, Payton Okada, and Pono Carvalho.

"These bunch of students banded together in order to shed some light upon this struggling time in our lives," said Okada, a student athlete on the Farrington baseball team.

"The goal of this video was to sympathize and thank its viewers about everything from the current emotions being tossed around to the immense bravery being shown by our first responders and health care professionals," Okada added.
