No. 8 Moanalua recorded seven interceptions and scored three times on defense in a dominating 48-0 homecoming win over visiting Castle Friday night.

Jeremiah Tauai scored on a 41-yard interception return and a 20-yard fumble return to help Na Menehune improve to 7-0 overall and 5-0 in OIA D1 play.

Aukai Grace also scored on a 20-yard interception return as the Moanalua defense recorded more interceptions than completions by the Castle offense.

Quarterback RJ Javar threw for 151 yards and three scores, two of which went to Rudy Kealohi.

The Knights dropped to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in league play, but can still reach the playoffs if they can get a win over Kailua (3-5 overall, 2-2 league) next Saturday.
