Jalen Ah Yat picked up the pitching win after stepping on the mound to start the bottom of the eighth inning. He also reached on an error in the top of the ninth that ignited a string of hits that saw Kailua send 13 batters to the plate in its nine-run ninth inning.

Kayde Iranon was also key with base hits in his first four at bats.

The Surfriders took the early lead in the second inning after scoring on a wild pitch. They did their best to keep the Sabers at bay, but allowed the tying run to come home after a two-out bases on ball in the bottom of the seventh.
