MANOA — Seniors Kawika Lee and Sam Wheeler scored double-digit figures and combined for 29 points while junior Wesley Yamada followed with 10 points of his own, to help the third-ranked Iolani Raiders down Mid-Pacific, 57-48, Tuesday evening in Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I play at Mid-Pacific's Mills Gym.
Colin Ramos gathered up 19 points for the Owls and was a perfect 8 for 8 at the charity strip.
Iolani's Lee had 16 points and hit three 3-pointers while Wheeler put up 13 on two 3-pointers and 7-of-8 free throw shooting.
It was the Raiders' first win of the ILH season after falling to Maryknoll in last Saturday's regular season opener. Iolani will travel to Kalaepohaku to take on Saint Louis (1-1) on Thursday.
Mid-Pacific (1-2) will host Saint Francis (0-2) this Saturday at 6 p.m.
Iolani and Mid-Pacific will meet again on Jan. 24.
