Second-seeded Mililani bested Kamehameha-Hawaii in four sets in the quarterfinal round of the New City Nissan Division I Girls Volleyball State Championships at Moanalua's gymnasium Thursday night. Set scores were 25-20, 25-23, 23-25 and 25-17.
The Trojans (14-0), the OIA D1 champion and third-ranked team in the Hawaiian Electric Power Rankings, were led by Falanika Danielson's 15 kills and 17 digs and Aysia Miller's 11 kills and 31 assists.
Mililani moves on to take on No. 2 Iolani in the semifinals Friday night in the first match of a double-header at McKinley's Student Council Gymnasium. First serve is slated for 5 p.m.
The Warriors (17-2) were led by Nani Spaar's 24 kills and 14 digs.
