Kaile Halvorsen scored four goals as ninth-ranked Kaiser shutout Roosevelt, 5-0, Saturday afternoon in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division contest at Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium.
Halvorsen, has given a verbal commitment to Santa Clara University, added to her state-leading 23 goals as the Cougars improved to 7-2 with one game left in the regular season.
The senior forward had a hat trick by the 18th minute as Kaiser held a 3-0 lead after the first half. She added one more goal in the 51st minute while junior Shaley Mercado capped the Cougars' scoring with a goal of her own in the 55th minute.
Roosevelt saw a six-game winning streak snapped as it dropped to 6-3. It was the first time the Rough Riders were shutout of a game since their season-opener against Castle.
